Update on Echo’s Ear
We’re a couple days out from Echo’s minor surgery to repair an ear tip that Peanut bit off. She’s weaned off the tramadol now and was pretty much back to her usual, upbeat self within 24 hours. The vet did a fantastic job cleaning the ear up and I don’t anticipate any issues with the healing process. We’ll keep it clean and dry and finish out the 10 days of antibiotics.

The underside is a bit easier to see because there’s no black fur and gives you a better idea how just how much is missing. There are a couple stitches, which we’ll pull out in about 10 more days.
I think we can put the Great Ear Debacle of 2010 behind us.
