Meal Calendar

I do the majority of cooking in the family and, like many moms, I struggle with getting dinner on the table after a busy day of kids and work. The constant battle of fixing something that will be eaten by most members of the family with minimal complaint, super healthy preferable not unhealthy and the proverbial “quick and easy.” So I have 4 weeks worth of recipes that check every box. We just repeat every four weeks and I swap out meals from the Substitute List whenever I feel adventurous or have more time on my hands.

Week 1:
Monday: Meatloaf, Mashed Potatoes, Steamed Broccoli, Orange Slices
Tuesday:  Ground Beef Crunchy Tacos, Rice, Refried Beans, Shredded cheese, Tomato, Lettuce
Wednesday: Butter Chicken, Roasted Cauliflower, Rice, Berries
Thursday: Spaghetti & Meatballs, Salad, green beans
Friday: Hot dogs, Chili, Tater Tots, Apple Slices
Saturday: Out
Sunday: Steak, Salad, Sweet/Baked Potatoes

Week 2:
Monday:  Marinated Chicken Tenders, Corn Pudding/Corn on the Cob, Steamed Cauliflower
Tuesday: Ground Beef Crunchy Tacos, Rice, Refried Beans, Shredded cheese, Tomato, Lettuce
Wednesday: Cherry Pork Tenderloin, Mashed Potatoes, Peas, Dill Cucumbers
Thursday:  Pot Roast, Carrots, Potatoes, Mushrooms
Friday:  Flank Steak, Sautéed Bell Peppers, Avocado/Guacamole, Corn Tortillas
Saturday: Out
Sunday: Brinner – sausage, eggs, pancakes, hash browns, blueberries 

Week 3:
Monday: Hamburgers, Baked Beans, Apple Sauce, Orange Slices
Tuesday: Ground Beef Crunchy Tacos, Rice, Refried Beans, Shredded cheese, Tomato, Lettuce
Wednesday: Yogurt spiced chicken thighs, lentils, rice,  oven roasted carrots, Berries
Thursday: Cincinnati Chili, noodles, cheddar cheese, onions, steamed broccoli, apple slices
Friday:  Garlic Pork, Black beans, White Rice, tortillas, avocado, diced tomatoes, Cilantro
Saturday: Out
Sunday: Steak, Salad, Sweet/Baked Potatoes, Creamed Spinach

Week 4:
Monday:  Butter chicken, roasted cauliflower, rice, fruit
Tuesday: Roast Chicken, Mashed Potatoes, Peas, Pickled Beets, Salad
Wednesday: Sliders, Baked Beans, Dill Cucumbers, Fruit
Thursday:  Ground Beef Crunchy Tacos, Rice, Refried Beans, Shredded cheese, Tomato, Lettuce
Friday: Coconut Curry Beef, rice
Saturday: Out
Sunday: Flank Steak, Salad, Oven Roasted Brussel Sprouts

Substitute Meals:

Barbacoa, Cilantro Lime Rice, Corn, Guacamole
