{"id":447,"date":"2016-09-08T23:53:23","date_gmt":"2016-09-08T23:53:23","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/worldofgrey.com\/?p=447"},"modified":"2016-09-07T23:58:04","modified_gmt":"2016-09-07T23:58:04","slug":"moms-banana-bread","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/worldofgrey.com\/?p=447","title":{"rendered":"Mom&#8217;s Banana Bread"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>My mom&#8217;s recipe, so of course it&#8217;s amazing.<\/p>\n<p>What you need:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>1 cup sugar<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 cup unsalted butter<\/li>\n<li>2 eggs, beaten<\/li>\n<li>3 crushed, *very* ripe bananas<\/li>\n<li>1\/4 cup buttermilk<\/li>\n<li>1 tsp baking soda<\/li>\n<li>1 1\/2 cup flour &#8211; sifted<\/li>\n<li>1 tsp salt<\/li>\n<li>1 cup chopped walnuts<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>What to do:<\/p>\n<p>Sift together flour, baking soda and salt, set aside. In a bowl, use hand mixer to beat the butter for 30 seconds. Add the sugar and beat until creamy. Incorporate the eggs (don&#8217;t over mix). Now mix by hand to add in the flour and bananas, alternating in 1\/3&#8217;s. Mix until smooth. Add buttermilk, mix well.
